Curating the perfect environment to match an object
Contemporary Environment
I created this table, called Perpetua, inspired by Eadweard Muybridge’s investigation of movement called “Animal Locomotion”. Perpetua derives its form from shapes and silhouettes found from the animals in motion within the series. Through overlapping planes, staggered elements, segmented structure, Perpetua is designed to mirror the flow of motion.
The goal of this project was to identify the style of design and create a unique setting to best display the piece of furniture. Additionally, I wanted to create secondary silo shots.
